Last night, a group of 51 Twits and their plus ones, braved the Cape Town rain to attend a celebration ofthe return of el Burro’s Donkey Chido (read about what could possibly have happened to donkey here and here). Nic, the owner, very generously decided to donate any profits of the night to help2read, a local NPO assisting disadvantaged children in primary schools with literacy.
On 28 November 2010, a group of Cape Town food bloggers gathered together at our house to bake red velvet cupcakes, under the expert guidance of Hila Jonker (@LadyRaven), in aid of a charity called Nosh4Noah with the aim of raising money for therapy for Noah, a four year old who is on the Autism spectrum.
